I write evidence-based articles on nutrition, feeding, and women’s and children's health for a variety of publications. I also blog about my personal experiences raising girls, working as a nutritionist and my passionate belief in changing the way our culture teaches girls to eat and feel about their bodies and appetites.
Mind Over Mirror is a cover story I wrote which focused on improving body image.
I craft talks and workshops for parents, pediatric providers, preschools, and elementary schools that are inspired by my favorite food writers and a compelling body of research on kids, parents, eating, and feeding. My talks always aim to educate and provide warm, reassuring advice that can help parents, teachers, and other health providers support children in the most nourishing ways possible.
