This is an easy way to turn eating issues around before they ever impact your child’s nutrition or health.
Hello, and Welcome!
My name is Amelia and I have over a decade of experience working with children and families on a variety of nutrition and eating-related challenges.
Over the years, I’ve come to realize that at the core of every good eater is a positive, grounded relationship with food and body. While each child is unique, working together to understand how they think and feel about food can help us figure out the very best ways to help them improve whatever eating challenges they face.
As a nutrition therapist, I work directly with you to better understand your goals for your child. Together, we will uncover what might be getting in the way of them being a happy, healthy eater. Then we’ll put a plan in place to make meals better for everyone at the table.
Whether your child has a specific diagnosis such as ADHD, poor growth, high cholesterol, or insulin resistance, or they’re simply struggling to eat a variety of fruits and vegetables or enough food in general, together we can uncover the solutions and strategies to get them back on track.
By making an investment in improving their eating now, your child will have a set of positive and long-lasting habits that’ll support them physically and emotionally now and throughout life.
If you’re unsure if nutrition counseling is right for you or your child, please schedule a call. I’m happy to answer all your questions, outline what working together might look like, and help you feel like you’re doing the very best for your child.
Sincerely,
Amelia Sherry, MPH, RD, CDN, CDCES
